CopeCode Club is a campaign we created for the City of Boston Recovery Services that supports Boston youth (particularly those ages 12-14) in identifying healthy ways to cope with feelings that stressful situations produce. The goal was to build protective factors effective in preventing substance use.

We created posters, bus-stops, pull-up banners, stickers, digital components, an activity kit and other materials that connect to the website. All the materials can also be used in events where the teens can do activities that resonate with them.

Website

The main goal of this site was to house additional stories so that each youth can find one that resonates with them. I wanted to create something friendly and colorful so it relates to the target audience.

It’s been used primarily in two ways:

  • As an ongoing resource
  • As part of an activity
